Master Food Volunteer Program
The Master Food Volunteer Program is designed to train volunteers to assist with the Food Safety and Nutrition Program at the University of Florida IFAS Extension Brevard County. This program is an in-depth 4-week course that includes topics such as basic nutrition, nutrition and health throughout the lifecycle, food safety, food preparation, cooking questions and the latest food preservation processes. Upon completion of the program, you will be expected to volunteer at least 25 hours over the next 12 months. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities including helping with preparation of classes, assisting during classes, and other various projects. Stay tuned for the next training program.
